As we look to the future, and the possibility to expanding our collection, the Art Fund has taken a few field trips to see what's on the market recently. After attending the world famous RA Summer show in London, trustees of the Fund, members of the JCR, and our curator, all visited the slightly less talked about RA Schools Show, which displays the work of students graduating from the Royal Academy Schools. We felt it was important to attend degree shows in our search for possible new acquisitions as one of the main aims of the JCR Art Fund is to support emerging talent. With that idea in mind, they took another trip, once back in Oxford, to see what the Ruskin degree show had to offer. Having seen some fantastic and fascinating work on display we're very excited for what the new term will have in store for the collection.
