The first event of this year's arts week was a fascinating talk by world renowned art historian and cultural analyst Griselda Pollock, which was held in conjunction with our friends the Edgar Wind Society. Pollock's talk, which was entitled 'Raphael after the Holocaust: Art, Spirituality and the After-affects of Catastrophe', was followed by a particpatory exhibition in our gallery that show cased the works we have by female artists and invited visitors to creat their own narratives around the works.
